Dreamcatchers make a beautiful, unique and meaningful gift. Each dreamcatcher is hand made with love by Trudi and infused with divine protection. The purpose of the dreamcatcher is to ensure sweet dreams. Every dreamcatcher is unique. No two are made the same.

Dreamcatchers originated with the Native American Ojibwe (or Chippewa) people. Storytellers speak of the Spider Woman. She was known as Asibikaashi and took care of the children and the people on the land. As the Ojibwe population grew across North America, Asibikaashi found it difficult to reach them all. So, Mothers and Grandmothers would weave the magical webs for the children using willow hoops and decorating them with sacred and beautiful items.

The purpose of the dreamcatcher is to filter out all bad dreams and allow only good thoughts to enter the mind. "Only good dreams would be allowed to filter through...Bad dreams would stay in the net, disappearing with the light of day."

Each dreamcatcher is created through hours of care and attention - carefully crafted with ribbons of various colours and textures, crystals, leather strands and other materials for optimum beauty. A special charm or crystal is hung in the centre of each web. Each one is laced with love and divine protection.

Included with each dreamcatcher purchased is a card explaining the purpose of a dreamcatcher and a small gift intuitively chosen for the recipient of the dreamcatcher. "Angelic realm" - Created with several shades of ribbon, in purples, pinks, teal and green, along with white and gold, in a variety of widths and textures. Its web has been created with white ribbon with gold trim. Angel wings in the form of a love heart hang in the centre of the web. Two strands of pink leather and a row of rose quartz pink crystals hang among the ribbons. This beautiful piece was created lovingly by hand to embody sweetness and love.

Each one is absolutely unique and lovingly hand crafted with high quality wooden hoops, ribbons, crystals, beads and special pieces and charms in the centre of the web. The photo is a guideline only.
