Q1. What is the difference between a Psychic Reading and a Mediumship Reading?

A Psychic Reading means Simone can connect with your personal energy, by working with your aura, which contains information about your life path and provides insight into your past, present and future. Psychic Readings are a great way of having a fresh outlook and more complete understanding of your soul’s journey and purpose. Simone looks at all areas of your life which includes your personal life and relationships, your profession, finances, family and health, and any future possibilities that present themselves. There are times when Simone will see your past lives, as well as, opportunities for your spiritual growth.

Wanting to connect with a loved one or friend who has passed on means that you are asking for a Mediumship Reading. Mediumship is a clear connection and communication with the spirit world. The information that comes through during a Mediumship Reading doesn’t come from Simone. She’s the intermediary – the messenger of the information the spirit world is sending you! Simone will raise her vibration and those in the spirit world will lower their vibration. It’s on this shared vibrational level, between Simone and the spirit world, that connection and communication with your loved ones is made possible.

Q2. How do I prepare for my Psychic Reading in-person, over the phone, or Skype?

First and foremost, enjoy yourself! It is important to feel relaxed and have an open mind for any information you receive. It’s best to keep your arms and legs uncrossed to keep the energy open and flowing. Whether it be in person, over the phone or via Skype, preparation is the same. For a face-to-face reading try to arrive 5 minutes before your appointed time. If you've booked a phone or Skype reading, it is important to find a place where you feel comfortable and won't be distracted or disturbed when speaking with me. If you live in Australia, I will ring you on your preferred number so there will be no cost to you. International client’s readings are via Skype only.

I have done many readings before and know you may feel nervous about your reading, but I'd like to reassure you my purpose is to guide you positively on your life path. Having no set expectations of what you want to hear will mean you are more likely to have a great reading. The more relaxed you are, the better, as more information will be available for me to read for you.

Bring or have next to you (if you wish) a notepad and pen to take notes to assist you in remembering what I've said. Please have ready any important questions you wish to ask, writing them down beforehand will ensure you won't forget them, as there will be time at the end of your reading to answer any questions that I may not have already covered.

If you're having a face-to-face reading you may also bring a piece of jewellery you wear often. Psychometry, the process of holding an object through which I perceive information about you, is one of my favourite skills I use during Psychic Readings.

Another of my other favourite skills is psychically reading photos. Although not required, if you’re having a phone reading, it’s another way I can see your energy and tell you your story. As they say, the eyes are the window to the soul. If you would like to send me a photo of yourself, I’m more than happy to include that in your Psychic Reading. You can email me a recent, individual photo of yourself (no sunglasses) when you book a reading.

Q3. How can I prepare for my Mediumship Reading in-person, over the phone, or Skype?

First and foremost, enjoy yourself! It is important to feel relaxed and have an open mind for any information you receive from the spirit world. The more relaxed you are, the better, as more information will be available to read for you. Having no set expectations of what you want to hear will mean you are more likely to have a great reading.

Before the reading, you can to talk to your loved ones who’ve passed. You don’t need a Medium for your loved ones who’ve passed to hear you.

A quick refresher of your family tree prior to your reading is recommended.

There might be information that comes up during a reading that you are not aware of. If something doesn’t resonate with you, often a family member or friend can validate the information for you afterwards. You might also have a few unexpected loved ones come in. You may end up leaving the session with messages to give others in your life. It’s important to let the Spirits who naturally appear during your reading share their messages with you.

If you’d like to connect with a specific loved one in the spirit world, I can’t guarantee they’ll come through in a reading. I can’t command the spirit world. No medium can.

Please have patience. It’s an effort for spirit to communicate, and their effort is best to be acknowledged and respected.

I’ve done many readings before and know you may feel nervous about your reading. I'd like to reassure you my intention is to connect you with your loved one and pass on their very important messages to you.

Q4. How often should I have a Psychic Reading or a Mediumship Reading?

A Psychic Reading will provide enough insight and guidance for the next six to twelve months or more. A Mediumship Reading is recommended no more than once per year.

It’s important to wait three months after a loved one has passed before connecting with them in a Mediumship Reading. Often after losing a loved one, you will find that grieving is a personal and individual process. The grieving process is not only important but necessary for you to come to terms with the loss of your loved one. Also, this allows the time needed for the Spirit to adjust to the changes they’ve gone through. Your loved one is surrounded in Spirit with love in a safe, loving environment.

Q5. How is it possible to do a Psychic or Mediumship Reading for me over the telephone?

All energy is connected. Whether you’re sitting in front of me, or over the phone, I can tune into your voice’s energetic vibration and just working with my natural psychic/mediumship abilities is all that is required. The quality of a Psychic or Mediumship reading over the phone is not compromised. They are just as amazing. Phone readings are the most popular amongst my clients. I’ve found they’re the most convenient way for clients to have a reading with me, as they can be read from the comfort of their own home.

Q6. Did I study under any other Psychic Mediums to further develop my gift?

I sure have! I’ve been blessed to have been mentored by some of the best spiritual teachers in the world. Amanda Roussety was my very first teacher. I went on to be mentored by Lisa Williams and Mark Coleman. I’m currently being mentored by internationally renowned Tony Stockwell. I’ve also had the privilege to work alongside Amanda and Mark at their wonderful Spiritual centre. I’m constantly training and furthering my gifts. I believe learning is a lifelong endeavour.

Q7. What if you tell me something I don’t want to hear during my Reading?

I don’t have the final say in how your future unfolds. Although a Psychic or Medium may "see" your future, you have free will. At any time, you have the power to change the course of your life. Psychic information is just giving insight into what will likely happen based on the path you are currently walking. It’s a guideline to help you make the best choices for your life.

A skillful and ethical Psychic and Medium will not give you information that frightens you. As a professional, they should always treat you with compassion and complete respect, while being sensitive to a need for privacy. What a Psychic or Medium says is not set in stone! Please know that the future is always changing based on the decisions you make every day.

Q8. Are my payment details secure?

Yes. All payments are handled by PayPal. You will be redirected from the Joyful Soul website to PayPal during checkout. Joyful Soul cannot record your financial details, only your purchase details. I also accept direct bank deposit if preferred, please enquire and I can send you BSB and account details.

Q9. What is Joyful Soul’s payment policy?

A 50% deposit is required at time of booking at least 48 hours prior to any of Joyful Soul’s services. Full payment can also be made, if you choose. Final 50% payment can only be made in cash on the day of your reading (if in person), meditation and healing. A final receipt will be issued when full payment is received. All Psychic Parties must be paid in full 48 hours prior to the party event. You will receive a reminder text or email one day prior to your booking.

Q10. What is Joyful Soul’s cancellation policy?

All bookings that are not paid for 48 hours prior will be CANCELLED. If you have paid for an appointment more than 48 hours prior to the booking and need to cancel or reschedule, please contact me directly for a full refund or to reschedule the appointment.
